Riviera Dunes Marina, Palmetto, FL

This is a motor yacht *only* marina, with yearly inspections by the dockmaster to insure the boats are in legal, functional, condition. There are two floating pools (one for adults, one for families), individual bathrooms with showers, a small laundromat, and a restaurant/bar with live music until ~9 or 10 nearly every night. After 10 is quiet time!

There are two key-coded gates from the restaurant patio to the central dock landing. All cement floating docks with cement pilings dock-side, and wooden pilings at the end of the slip. Finger piers are also cement. Pedestals support 30 Amp and 50 Amp electrical, plus water and cable. There is abundant WiFi.

The marina is a "Hurricane Hole" style. Built in what was previously a dolomite mine next to the Manatee River, the entire mine was filled in to a depth of 18' before two cuts were made to connect it to the Manatee River. One of these is navigable, with no bridge. The open area of the harbor is large enough for decent dinghy sailing.
